Community Supported Agriculture
Through our CSA Food Box program, we at Determination Farms strive to live out our values of back-to-basics gardening, nourishing our whole bodies, and supporting our local community. Thank you for joining us on this journey!
What is a CSA?
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture, and is a model that allows community members to support their local farmers by investing in their businesses at the beginning of the growing season. In return, CSA subscribers receive a box of farm fresh produce every single week.
Determination Farms CSA:
Our 2019 Summer CSA starts in mid-June and runs through the end of September; approximately 16 weeks, depending on Mother Nature. We currently are only offering one share size, valuing $15.00 per week of fresh picked, chemical-free produce. Sign-ups for the Summer 2019 share season are currently open!
We are the CSA that delivers!!! Part of what sets Determination Farms apart is our delivery program! Our CSA's are delivered in insulated bags with ice packs to keep produce fresh. Each shareholder receives two bags at the beginning of the season to swap out every week, and which they get to keep at the end. There is a $25 one-time start-up fee to cover the cost of the bags. We delivery for free to the following towns:
Don't see your town listed? Contact us and we'll be more than happy to work out another meeting place. Or, you can pick your box up at our farm the day deliveries go out. Our shares are currently delivered every Wednesday.
Shareholders have two payment options: either pay in full upon receipt of invoice, or 50% upon receipt and the remaining 50% on/by the starting date of the season. Payments can be made through PayPal or by check. Please note there is a 3% transaction fee for payments made via Paypal.
